Do You Still Believe In Love: I don’t wear jeans often but here I love the casual style they create. The rolled up ends of the jeans allow the cute and girly frilly socks to be seen. The boots add a little height but are still really comfortable and easy to walk in due to the chunky heel. The top is slightly cropped and has a dusty rose print on which is really lovely and also subtly feminine. The necklace adds a little more interest to the look as well. I love the laid back nature of this look and it is perfect for everyday wear.
To The Beat: I have been loving plaid/tartan lately and this skirt is my favourite. The bold and bright colour make it the focal point of the outfit. It has great details with the pleats. The rest of the outfit is black to tie in with the pattern on the skirt, however there are subtleties in the other items that add an edge to this outfit. The leather shoulder pads on the top and the cut-out detail and buckles on the boots definitely add some edge. This outfit is great for everyday to smarter wear.
Looking For A Reason Why: This outfit is great because it gives a certain nostalgia for me. As a 90s baby I was often dressed in dungarees by my mother and these dungaree shorts are a great, more grown-up version of something I wore as a child. They are really comfy and the cropped top underneath is feminine with the lace and cut-out at the back. This is a really feminine and cute look for everyday wear but has been brought into adult appropriate wear by changing the styles and adding heeled boots. The monochrome colour scheme, buckled and cut-out, heeled boots and trilby add an edge to this look to make it more chic.
