Time To Lay Claim To The Evidence: For when the days get colder everyone needs a jumper or two. This is one of my favourite jumpers as it is white with tiny flecks of colour and has a random ribbed pattern, both of these aspects add interest and make it more than just a regular plain jumper. When it isn’t wet I still like to wear my jelly shoes and socks. The socks mean it isn’t too cold for my feet when the temperature isn’t so great. This is a really casual, laid back look; perfect for lazy days.

Footprints Wash Away: I love to mix prints all year round and this oversized top goes really well with the tartan skirt. The top buttons all the way up and is baggy so counters the short skirt with a defined waist. Oversized tops with a high-waisted skirt are always a great option in my opinion as they add a casual element to the look completely effortlessly and they are also super comfy to wear. If it gets a little colder the socks could be switched out for a pair of black tights, however the socks add an extra girly and cute element to the look, as do the heeled jelly shoes, which are reminiscent of childhood years. This look is quite a casual one and great for everyday activities but with a black blazer and potentially accessories; such as a statement necklace, could be dressed up slightly for smart/casual events or occasions.

My Life Be Like: This is one of my everyday looks but is more of a smart look than a casual one. The shoes have a small wedge heel to add a little height and a slightly grown-up element but they are still easy to walk in and comfy for all-day wearing. The combination of the black tights and the black shoes also elongates the legs. The top is subtly patterned due to a lace over-lay which gives the look a feminine edge and links nicely to the skirt; which has an embossed pattern on it. I love the contrast of the monochrome black-and-white look against the bright pop of colour in the lime blazer. This colour is so bright and really cheers up the outfit for those colder months. If you wanted to go for a sleeker look then switch the lime blazer for a black one and/or switch the skirt for a black pencil skirt and it is a look perfect for meetings or smart events.
