I’m here again with another outfit post. I love to dress up but some days you just fancy more of a casual day in a jumper and jeans. This outfit is perfect for those lazy days but still looks put-together and dressed up. It’s super easy to dress up a plain jumper and jeans outfit with a pair of statement shoes and some well chosen accessories.
For this outfit I have chosen to put my black skinny jeans with a white jumper. The jumper alone adds a little details as it has gorgeous little flecks of colour in red, yellow, blue and green and also some ribbing detail. It is so slouchy and comfortable and also warm, which is becoming ever more important as we venture towards the winter months – especially as the temperature here has now dropped to 5 degrees celsius very quickly from the summer-like weather with temperatures more like 15-20 degrees celsius only a week or two ago. I added a waterproof, oversized utility-style jacket to keep the wind and the rain off and also a wide-brimmed black hat to keep my hair from getting too wet. I also added a small, black handbag with gold detailing and then finally my holographic boots. I am in LOVE with these boots. They have about a 3 or 4 inch heel, but also a decent platform on the front so they’re ridiculously comfortable and so easy to walk in, but they still add some height and elongate your legs. The buckles and straps on these shoes add some awesome detail and all-in-all these shoes are like no others that I own and they’re just perfect for adding something to an outfit.
Where it’s all from:
Hat – River Island
Jacket – Urban Outfitters
Jumper – M&Co.
Jeans – H&M
Boots – Missguided
Bag – Deena&Ozzy
To accessorise an outfit like this further you could add some long pendant necklaces and layer them up, or even a more statement necklace, but to keep it casual it shouldn’t be too fancy. If you did want to dress the outfit up then you could take the hat and jacket off, add a statement necklace that’s a little more going-out-worthy and tuck the front of the jumper into the jeans to emphasise your waistline. Also you could switch the shoes out for some strappy, or more dainty heels.
I love finding ways to make outfits more casual and I hope you love this look as much as I do!
