Hey everyone!

I am currently loving the darker style that comes along with the recent season change. This outfit is actually so comfy and is also really easy to dress up or down; in my opinion you just can’t go wrong with a shirt and skater skirt.

Where it’s all from:

Locket Necklace – Vintage
Shirt – H&M
Skirt – Bay Tree of York
Boots – Primark

This outfit has so many cute details, like the locket necklace and rabbit print on the shirt, but the boots toughen it up a little. I do also think that these boots are quite cute because they make my feet look really small even though they are half a size too big (shout out to people with awkward half-sized feet). The boots are great for when it gets a bit more rainy and puddles begin to appear as they keep your feet nice and dry. This shirt is such a perfect fit for me and the fabric is really soft and it’s actually surprisingly warm. The crushed velvet adds another texture and dimension to the outfit as the light reflects off it to create cool patterns. As it is cooler I just shoved on a pair of plain black tights too.

When it gets even colder it’d be really easy to pull on a cropped jumper or a shorter jumper tucked into the front of the skirt to add some extra warmth; probably in black or navy, but you could also go with a paler blue or a grey. To smarten the look up a little you could change out these boots for some heeled boots, or just some smarter ones. To add a little more edge a plain black, medium-width belt with a large silver buckle would emphasise the waist and toughen up the look a little more.

I hope you enjoyed yet another outfit post from me!

Love xx
