Spring is finally here it seems with some warmer weather and sunshine, but it’s still not as warm as it looks, especially when there’s a breeze.
Where it’s all from:
- Top – Ark
- Skirt – Bay Tree of York
- Heels – Primark
I am still completely in love with the midi skirt; it’s so flattering and shows off a little less skin. They keep your legs a little more protected – I’m not ready to go out in a mini skirt without tights yet! – but also show off a little skin. For this outfit I’ve gone with a floral skirt with a darker background colour as I’m not quite ready to let go of my black clothes yet. I’ve kept the top simple in a black colour with cute cut-out details at the shoulders and in a thicker material to keep me a little warmer. To finish the look off I’ve added some feminine lace-up, pointed-toe heels with mesh and scalloped edging. I am so in love with this look and it’s one I want to wear again and again, and with different variations as it is just so versatile and gorgeous, but looks effortlessly put together and actually is really effortless and enjoyable to wear. To dress down the look I’d switch up the heels for some cute ballerina flats in black or even pink to tie in with the skirt and to dress it up I’d switch the roll-neck top for a plain black croptop to show a little skin at the midriff and maybe even layer a couple of dainty necklaces too.
