Hey everyone!

I find myself reaching for jeans so frequently, but often wondering what to pair with them to make them a little more interesting and more than just ‘jeans and a top’. I own lot of items of clothing with stripes and have been going through a bit of an obsession with them recently so decided it was the perfect time to experiment with them as jeans give me a nice blank canvas to work with.

Where it’s all from:

  • Top – Boohoo
  • Jumper – H&M
  • Jeans – H&M
  • Heels – Primark

This look is completely appropriate for everyday with the casual jeans and jumper and if you wanted to make it even more casual you could switch out the heels for some flats, but I wanted to add something a little smart to the look so I went with some lace-up heels with mesh that tie in with the stripes on the jumper and are pretty subtle, but the shape and height just add a subtle smart edge to the look. The high neck top with close together stripes pairs really well with the jumper as they complement each other nicely and I feel that the neckline on this jumper falls at an unflattering place for me and I have been really loving higher-necked tops recently too.

This is definitely an everyday look, but as I said before it could be dressed down with flat shoes instead of heels. It could also be dressed up by switching the blue jeans for some black ones and switching the jumper for a leather jacket or blazer.

Love xx
